On my way from Casablanca airport, I was waiting at Casa-Port station for the next train to Skhirat. As I put down my cup of coffee, I saw a few Meditate to Regenerate members walking in the distance. I had to look twice because I couldn’t believe my eyes. I called out their names but they didn’t hear me. I approached them slowly with a smile on my face as I didn’t expect to meet them until I had reached Skhirat in the afternoon. Turns out they were just about to head off to a workshop with iFIAG, which was five minutes away.
With the excitement of being with my friends, I decided to miss my train and join them for the workshop, even though I had my luggage with me. I didn’t participate that much as I was too tired from traveling but I took some photos and ended up playing some relaxing guitar during the meditation. Luckily for them, I had also brought the leaflets that we got printed in London a few days earlier. The leaflets contain instructions for meditation and ways to contact Meditate to Regenerate. We gave out a few to the students who came to our workshop.
After the workshop with two groups, we headed back to the station and caught the next train to Skhirat, which we had to wait almost two hours for. So while we waited, we had food and played Perudo, the famous dice game that we play on every tour.
